Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Viviene Valdez (Dr. V), DDS
Dr. Viviene Valdez, DDS – Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, is a native of Sydney, Australia, where she attended the University of Sydney to study medical science. Wishing to continue her studies, Dr. Valdez moved to the United States and completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Ohio State University. She then attended New York University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Valdez went on to complete her general dentistry and pediatric dentistry residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY, Resident Dentistry-General.
Dr. Valdez is a clinical faculty member at the University of the Pacific, San Francisco, Pediatric Dentistry. She has also been Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry since 2011. She currently volunteers as a Committee Member for the certification and renewal process with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Valdez is dedicated to her profession and passionate about working with kids. In her spare time, Dr. Valdez enjoys spending time with family, biking, hiking, or going to new places. She is also passionate about serving the community and volunteers at dental health fairs.
Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Phi Luong, DDS
Dr. Phi Luong grew up in Orange County and graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego. She continued her dental education at the University of California, San Francisco, before completing a two-year specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Recognized for her outstanding community service and leadership, Dr. Luong was honored with the Hu Friedy and Omicron Kappa Upsilon scholarship.
